Great Migration Safari in Serengeti
Follow the Serengeti migration through calving, central plains and river-crossing seasons.

The Great Migration is a continuous movement of wildebeest, zebra and other grazers through the Serengeti–Mara ecosystem. From roughly December to March, large herds concentrate around Ndutu and the southern plains for calving. During April and May they move through the central and western regions. June can bring western corridor and Grumeti activity. From July to October, many herds reach the northern Serengeti and Mara River area. In November, short rains often draw movement south again. The most suitable route depends on your exact month, available nights and whether you prefer driving or fly-in logistics.
